The long-awaited party organized, as every year, by Urbani Tartufi on behalf of Urbani Truffles in conjunction with the Summer Fancy Food has just ended. This year the party took place aboard the Hornblower, a three-story yatch that entertained guests with excellence from the world of gastronomy, great music and a mini cruise in the waters of Manhattan. The Ferrari and Cà del Bosco wineries welcomed the more than 800 guests who were able to appreciate different tasting styles on each floor of the yacht. The skydeck had been set up a high-end street food with truffle flats from Orlando Foods and Bel Gioioso, mozzarella Lioni, and porchetta Fa. Lu. Cioli while Don Antonio Starita has created truffle pizzas that, following the new trend in New York, have been combined with the prosecchi Mionetto.
On the second floor, guests awaited an Urbani tasting menu made by fingers food made by the Culinary Director of Urbani Truffle Lab, chef Christine Berni-Silverstein, Melotti truffle risotto cooked in an 18-karat gold pot offered by Pentole Agnelli and covered with Truffle Gold, cold pasta and roast beef to match with Urbani Truffle Grill. On the first floor, the VIP lounge, celebrated with Calvisius Caviar and Franciacorta Cà del Bosco, live jazz and a cognac, whiskey & cigar area with Urbani-branded cigars arrived directly from the Dominican Republic. The party began at 7 p.m. and around 9:30 p.m., after dinner, the yacht sailed to the Statue of Liberty while the DJ put on Liza Minnelli’s piece, New York New York. Those who wanted it could pose in a fun way by having themselves photographed at the photo booth with truffle hunting scenes in the background.
Strategist Urbani Truffles NY, “After the organizational stress of the Fancy Food days, this party was just what it took. A beautiful party where at one point, as we set sail towards the Statue of Liberty, I felt like I was shouting at the audience: Let it go! What happened was exciting, everyone was dancing, even the most unsuspecting, ministers, people from the entertainment world, all released their energy and even when it started to rain, the dances on the roof top of the yacht did not stop. A party we won’t forget. I thank all those present, all my collaborators who have given so much for the success of this event and last, but not in order of importance, the owners of the company, Olga and Giammarco Urbani, came specially from Italy to share with all of us this great event.”
