Urbani Tartufi present at "Italia a Tavola" prize and the presentation of the new Euro Toques guide

It took place on Saturday and Sunday in Florence at Palazzo Borghese the delivery of the prize “Italy a Tavola – Character of the year of Enogastronomy and Catering”, an event that follows the presentation of the Euro Toques Italy Guide that took place this winter in Milan in the presence of chef Gualtiero Marchesi. On both occasions Urbani Tartufi has been present as technical sponsor, represented by the commercial director Pietro Borroni who speaks of the event: “A unique opportunity to meet the greatest Italian chefs and share with them the interest and the appreciation for our truffle, a diamond in a world of excellence, when we talk about truffles to all the chefs twinkling their eyes. I thank the chef Derflingher for having prepared the most important dish of the event with the Urbani’s truffle”.

To chef Enrico Derflingher, assisted by chef Massimiliano Catizzone and chef Ciro D’Amico, the nomination as best dish of the gala evening at Palazzo Borghese. The team has created a superlative dish with the Urbani’s truffle: Risotto Queen Vittoria with Sicilian red crayfish, black truffle and Grana Padano reserve 24 months. The meeting, moderated by Marcello Masi, director of Italian newscast TG2, in the presence of Dario Franceschini, Italian minister, saw the participation of big names of Italian gastronomy. To name just a few: Annie Feolde, Enrico Derflinmgher, Cerea brothers, Niko Romito and more. An event that was an opportunity to talk about synergy between cuisine, culture and tourism, where the key message that dominated the two intense days of work was, as has repeatedly stressed the Minister Franceschini “focus on excellencies.” A message that Urbani Tartufi has always been able to grasp by affirming the Made in Italy in the world through a product flag of Italian Excellencies and thanks to a passion and a commitment that has been handed down for 6 generations.
